Christmas at Victoria Mansion – 2010

The National Historic Landmark, is a Victorian treasure, opened for self-guided tours through Jan. 8 and don’t forget to visit the Carriage House Museum Shop for unique gifts.
This is the mansion’s 26th year of offering holiday tours, and the theme The Twelve Days Of Christmas honors that, right down to the silver anniversary accents. Each year, local designers, decorators, and florists transform the mansion into an over-the-top Victorian holiday showcase.
No reservations are necessary for the self-guided tours, offered daily, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Admission: adults $15; AAA/senior (62 and over) $13.50; $7 for Victoria Mansion members; $5 for children (6-17); free for children younger than 6; or $35 family ticket.
After visitng Victoria Mansion join the festivities of grabbing last-minute Christmas gifts during Merry Madness Night, held in downtown Portland, Maine on Dec 16 from 5:00 PM to 10 00 PM. The annual event sees participating stores open until 10pm and includes music, food and live entertainment – all you need to be merry!
